Online congress with international participation Molecular Diagnostics and Biological Safety 2021. COVID-19: Epidemiology, Diagnosis and Prophylaxis is held from 28 to 29 April 2021. The Congress was first launched in 2003.

The issue of coronavirus infection remains high on the international agenda. The pandemic has currently affected over 200 countries globally, with more than 100 million cases and 2 million deaths*.

What do we know about the infection today? What is the perception of COVID-19 a year after the pandemic onset? What are the challenges that the healthcare system, the society and the state face today? The upcoming Congress will mainly focus on COVID-19 research, new diagnostic methods, specific and non-specific preventive care, hygiene and infection control in hospitals and other relevant issues related to the new coronavirus infection.

Leading national and foreign experts in epidemiology and molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases, representatives of scientific institutions and R&D establishments, heads and staff of laboratory diagnostics departments of large clinics and other healthcare institutions of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and other departments will participate in the Online Congress.
